Dark Fruit #3 – Lemon & Lime

I thought I’d complete my triptych of dark fruit posts today although I originally had a number of other ideas in mind.  I still haven’t organised my theatre photos and the brocante series promised from a few weeks ago has yet to be presented – I claim the distractions of summertime as mitigation.

It also has to be said that the last 10 days of dull and rainy weather – just in time for the height of the French holiday season – after weeks of glorious sunshine here on the hillside, is already making me think nostalgically of summer and bright zesty colours.

It really is far too soon to contemplate the arrival of Autumn, so today it’s the turn of some zingy limes and a single lemon to take the stage and banish the grey, even if the background is a little dark and moody …….

    1. Thankyou frenchapple! I love the idea of that pudding! I think the sun is due to return here today, but the weather keeps playing seesaws with us this month, from 30°C+ to 20°C and back again !
