Signs of Spring are appearing everywhere on the hillside now – tiny blue forget-me-nots, wild violets, the first cowslips, the early daffodils, even some very precocious iris are in full bloom seeking the warmth of the sun. Opportunities for photographs abound and I have a score of ideas for posts for the coming days. I decided however, to start my spring pictures with some stunning pale pink tulips which I guiltily confess I found in the local florist yesterday. They may not be from the garden this time but their delicate colour and tender arching forms made them irresistibly pretty subjects!
How beautiful!

P.S. And, I’m not a huge fan of pink either. Will miss the deep colors of autumn/winter on here, but you’ve tempted me enough with the promise of pastels and brights.

Seriously, Jane. I don’t know how you do it, but your photos have an uncanny way of making me desperate to leap into your world. What I wouldn’t give to see life through your eyes for just one hour. Truly, wholly stunning. Mother Nature must surely stand and applaud when you walk into a room for being able to take her work one notch above what even she envisioned would be worthy.

Dear Shelley you are so kind – you’ve made my day! I truly wish I could transmit more than a fraction of the vision I have in my own head when I begin my little photoshoots. I’m just delighted that you like what I do manage to achieve! I’m currently struggling to make some almond blossom photos measure up !! 😀 PS I hope you found Lavenham via Google and would love to know if you have indeed already been there in person ? 🙂
